Current England and Everton Keeper Jordan Pickford was involved in a fight outside a pub in Sunderland.
Pickford had reportedly watched his former club Sunderland lose in the Checkatrade Trophy final against Portsmouth in the city centre before moving on to a bar.
The video shows punches thrown by revellers on the street – and it has been claimed that one of the people seen in the video is the 25-year-old Everton goalkeeper.
Onlookers can be heard shouting “Jordan” as a fight breaks out before the man, believed to be Pickford, is dragged away.
An Everton statement said: “The club has been made aware of an alleged incident involving one of our players and we are looking into the matter.
Northumbria Police on Tuesday confirmed they are looking into the incident.
A spokesperson said: “At 12:19am Monday April 1, police received a report of a disturbance involving a large group of individuals on Tunstall Road, Sunderland.
“Enquiries are ongoing to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident and locate those involved. Nobody is believed to have been seriously injured and no arrests have been made.
